MRITYUNJAY BABUR SHANTINIKETAN FOUNDATION

Named in honor of the late Mrityunjay Dey — a humble grassroots reformer devoted to the welfare of rural communities — the foundation was established to carry forward his unfinished work. Founded by Mr. Samir Dey and his associates, the organization is rooted in one belief:
No human being should live without shelter, dignity, and care.
Registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, the foundation begins its journey in Maheshpur Village and over 50 surrounding villages in West Bengal.
Our first commitment is focused and clear — to establish a structured shelter home for the homeless, abandoned elderly, and orphaned children in rural communities. This is not a temporary relief effort. It is a long-term institutional commitment.

Our Mission

Our mission is to uplift and support the marginalized sections of society by providing shelter, education, healthcare, and social assistance. We are committed to creating a better future for the homeless, elderly, underprivileged children, farmers, handicapped individuals, and tribal communities.

Our Key Initiatives

Shelter & Rehabilitation

Providing housing and shelters for homeless individuals and elderly citizens. Start operating an Old Age & Rehabilitation Center in Maheshpur with a capacity for 50+ people.

Education & Skill Development

Supporting children from backward communities with education and resources. Offering assistance to poor students for their academic growth.

Healthcare & Medical Aid

Providing medical assistance to those in need. Operating blood bank support services for emergency cases.

Social & Financial Assistance

Supporting poor women and families with marriage assistance. Extending aid to farmers, handicapped individuals, and tribal groups.
