Named in honor of the late Mrityunjay Dey, a dedicated social worker, MRITYUNJAY BABUR SHANTINIKETAN FOUNDATION is a charitable organization founded by, Mr. Samir Dey and his associates. Inspired by principles and lifelong commitment to the welfare of the people, Mr. Samir Dey and his associates established this NGO to continue his unfinished work and serve the underprivileged communities of Maheshpur Village and over 50+ surrounding villages in West Bengal.
Maheshpur is a peaceful and historic village in Uluberia, Howrah, West Bengal, near Birshibpur Railway Station. It has a high school, two primary schools, a local market, and a famous Kali Mata Mandir, which serves as a landmark. The nearest college, hospital, and government offices (BDO & SDO) are within easy reach. The village is well-connected via NH12 and nearby railway stations.
Our mission is to uplift and support the marginalized sections of society by providing shelter, education, healthcare, and social assistance. We are committed to creating a better future for the homeless, elderly, underprivileged children, farmers, handicapped individuals, and tribal communities.
Shelter & Rehabilitation: Providing housing and shelters for homeless individuals and elderly citizens. Start operating an Old Age & Rehabilitation Center in Maheshpur with a capacity for 50+ people.
Education & Skill Development: Supporting children from backward communities with education and resources. Offering assistance to poor students for their academic growth.
Healthcare & Medical Aid: Providing medical assistance to those in need. Operating blood bank support services for emergency cases.
Social & Financial Assistance: Supporting poor women and families with marriage assistance. Extending aid to farmers, handicapped individuals, and tribal groups.
